You thought that expensive dinner at the French Laundry was about Newsom thumbing his nose at the rest of us. In part that is true. The real reason is to help a lobbyist destroy the economy of the Orange County region. Another reason for Newsom to be Recalled.

Desal is an alternative water supply which must be considered as the wells run dry. Seawater intrusion is affecting many coastal cities now so all coastal cities will need desalination eventually. Groundwater overdraft by water hungry SoCAL creates a void into which the seawater flows, a known problem.
