January 31st is the 18th anniversary of the crash of Alaska Air Flight 261 off the coast of Port Hueneme. Each year family, relatives, friends and residents come to the Sundial Memorial at Hueneme Beach to remember and share their thoughts and remembrances of loved ones.

This Wednesday is January 31st and at 3PM all welcomed to join at the Memorial. It is always moving and uplifting as those involved have come to celebrate the lives of those they loved.

The families welcome all Port Hueneme residents that have come out over the years and extend an invitation to others that would like to come and be part of a Port Hueneme tradition of showing that they care and appreciate Port Hueneme welcoming them back every year.
