19 year old Ventura teen arrested for indecent exposure at Pacific View Mall

nurse arial,sans-serif;”>On Thursday July 30, at 1pm, Ventura PD received reports from a victim of a subject engaging in lewd acts near JCPenneys in the 300 block of Mills Rd.

During the investigation, officers learned that the victim was sitting on a bench outside of JCPenneys, when a subject, later identified as the suspect 19 year old Tyler White, approached her and asked what time it was. He then sat down next to the victim. After several minutes, White stood back up, at which time he had his pants down and was intentionally exposing himself. The victim quickly left and called the police a short time later to report the incident.

Officers checked the area and found White sitting in the area of the Bus Depot. He was identified by the victim and taken into custody without incident. White was booked into the Ventura County Jail for indecent exposure.

Over the past two weeks, there have been similar type incidents reported to the Ventura Police Department, but White could not be identified. The department is asking the public, if they recognize White and were possibly a victim of indecent exposure by him, please call the Ventura Police Department at 339-4441
