50+ killed, over 400 injured in Vegas shooting
A gunman firing from the 32nd floor of a Las Vegas Strip casino sprayed hundreds of shots into an outdoor country music festival below, killing at least 50 people and wounding more than 400 as tens of thousands of screaming concert-goers ran for their lives, officials said Monday.
It was the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
The shooting erupted as country music star Jason Aldean was performing Sunday night at the end of the three-day Route 91 Harvest Festival. SWAT teams quickly descended on the concert and the casino, and officers used explosives to get into the hotel room where the suspect was inside, authorities said.

There were people shot right next to us in the concert and as we were running people ahead of us were shot and on the ground so it was so scary of figuring out which way to run so we just ran as fast as we could for cover
