Since the mid-80s, Real Men have come a long way from a time when they “Didn’t Eat Quiche.” Today’s men (and women), at least the ones who volunteer with CAREGIVERS, aren’t afraid to go out on a limb to bring attention to senior issues in Ventura County.  Locally, they’ve swapped the proverbial Quiche for a genuine Scottish Kilt.

“2017 marks one of the most successful tournaments in the 25 year history of the Wearin’ o’ the Green”, said Tammy Glenn, Executive Director. “The committee is extraordinary, the sponsors have stepped up in great numbers, the course is full, and we have more (Wo)Men in Kilts than ever! The Tournament’s co-founder Norm Weitzel would be proud to know that this event has become a Ventura County tradition that continues our mission to serve seniors.”

The tournament starts at 9 a.m., Friday, March 17, 2017 at Buenaventura Golf Course.
