4,250 Bags of Produce for Farm Workers, Thank You VC Farmers!

    HELLO FRIENDS,

We hope this newsletter finds you well! As we reflect on the last few months, we wanted to highlight some of our farm partners in Ventura County that have generously helped us fill over 4,000 bags of fresh produce for local farm workers in need. While we have not advertised it much, SEEAG’s staff has been hard at work securing donations and delivering produce every week for the last two months. We are extremely proud and humbled by the generosity our Ventura County growers have shown during this difficult time. Thank you to Gill’s Onions, Howueling’s Group, San Miguel Produce, Earthtrine Farm, Saticoy Lemon Association, Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Petty Ranch, Calavo, Mission Produce, Tamai Family Farms, Fig Tree Farms, Chivas Skin Care, and Bennett’s Honey Farm for your many donations.

Moving on, we look forward to continuing to provide much needed educational and material resources for our community. Starting next week, SEEAG will be sending out monthly newsletters highlighting different farms and farmers in our region, local crops, education materials, recipes, and more. Be sure to follow along with us as we head into summer!

Again, thank you to all of our farm partners. Your generosity inspires us all!

    Sincerely,

    Mary and Team SEEAG

    4,250 BAGS OF PRODUCE

    DONATED TO VENTURA COUNTY

    FARM WORKERS

Since the end of March, SEEAG has partnered with our amazing community of farmers to secure and deliver enough produce donations to fill 4,250 bags of produce for our dedicated local farm workers by the end of this week. With the deepest gratitude, we want to thank Gill’s Onions, Howueling’s Group, San Miguel Produce, Earthtrine Farm, Saticoy Lemon Association, Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Petty Ranch, Calavo, Mission Produce, Tamai Family Farms, Fig Tree Farms, Chivas Skin Care, and Bennett’s Honey Farm for your generous donations over the last two months. With the help of these local organizations, we have helped to provide healthy, fresh produce for our neighbors that need and deserve it most. Without our dedicated farm workers, none of us would have food on our own tables.
