Oxnard Revival Center comes together in prayer for the local Oxnard Police Department
NEWS! NEWS! – Local church in Oxnard, California comes together in unity and prayer for their local Police Department and Law Enforcement. Amidst the recent occurrences involving law enforcement and police authorities throughout the Nation, Oxnard Revival Center (ORC) was compelled to pray for the local Oxnard police. On Sunday July 31st, headed by one of ORC’s leaders, Rene Tovar and approximately 90 members of ORC, a prayer was held outside Oxnard PD. Senior Pastor, Misael Gurrola, began this prayer with motivational and encouraging words.
ORC’s Community Liaison, Adam Lopez, stated that this is a movement that will hopefully ignite a spark in other leaders to come out of the four walls of the church and act on faith to impact their community through prayer.
The goal of Oxnard Revival Center is to host these prayer rallies at all Police Departments throughout Ventura County. “We plan on praying for the police force in the city of Port Hueneme next”, said Tovar. They all need prayer and we will eventually get to all of them.
The Oxnard Revival Center church is reaching out to local churches, pastors, and leaders to join them in this movement and help pray for protection over our local police force and law enforcement.
