6 th Annual Heritage Music & Arts Festival Returns to Angel City Brewery on May 20th

Angel City Brewery’s annual Heritage Music & Arts Festival is back for 2018, now in its 6th year. On May 20, from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM, the Brewery’s birthday bash will feature a notable line-up of music, a variety of cultural performances and live art, all bundled together in a celebration of this city, the brewery and of course, beer!

The music line-up this year does not disappoint, with performances by The Drizz, Earth Arrow Music, Spaghetti Cumbia and headliner – and Anti Records recording artist – Doe Paoro. There will be a beer garden outside, supporting ArtShare LA, featuring cans of newly released Strawberry Gose, spicy Srirachelada (which might just rival your grandmother’s michelada) and the brewery’s flagship style – Angel City IPA – which has been on tap since the brewery’s first Heritage Fest six years ago. There will also be live mural painting, an artist bazaar with vendors such as Rock and Sock and Petrails, performances curated by Tribe Project, including Aztec Dancers, Native American Drumming, Taiko Drummers and Hip Hop Dancers. Downtown Taco, Kai Dumplings and Bison Burger will also be in attendance, serving up dishes made to pair with the brewery’s flagship style, Angel City IPA.

“What started as a ribbon cutting and birthday party, Heritage Fest has evolved tremendously and is now – can’t believe I’m saying this – in its 6th year!” Said General Manager Bradford Fullterton. “In the beginning, we only had a handful of beers that we were so excited to share with our neighbors, it’s so cool to see the evolution of our line-up and the event itself, while remaining grounded in our roots. This is truly a celebration of LA culture and this amazing community.

About Angel City Brewery
LA is often viewed through a lens of Hollywood, glitz and glamour, but at Angel City we see things
differently. Our mission is simple: to shine a light on the eclectic underbelly of what has been referred to
as the other LA. Our home in the Downtown Arts District is the center of a cultural revival for the city’s
most talented artists, musicians, hustlers, and craftspeople. It’s an LA that’s as creative as it is diverse,
and our beer is no exception. Through our beers and hand-chosen partnerships we seek to bring the
allure of the Arts District experience to greater LA and beyond. Find Angel City on draft or in 6-packs at
bars, restaurants and retail locations throughout California. Visit the Brewery and Public House downtown for a brewery tour, tasting or weekly event, located at 216 Alameda Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
