Port Hueneme Police Department – Incident Press Release
On Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at approximately 2:30 PM Port Hueneme Police Dispatch received a 911 call in reference to a vehicle burglary in progress in the 900 block of Evergreen Lane. Officers responded to the scene and located the suspect (16-year-old male from Oxnard) along the east side of the residence. A foot pursuit immediately ensued leading officers toward the 500 block of Park Avenue next to the public library. During the foot pursuit the suspect discarded a gun. The suspect was apprehended and taken into custody. The discarded gun was located and collected by officers on scene.
After further investigation, it was revealed the suspect had entered the victim’s residence (where he was initially observed by officers upon their arrival) and had stabbed the victim, a female in her 80’s, multiple times while he attempted to rob her inside of her own home. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital where she is currently listed in critical but stable condition.

We should have passes Prop 20. I am sure this loser will live a long crime filled life and we will have to deal with his criminal ways.
