We are welcoming leading speakers and scholars to Pepperdine – both on our Malibu campus and our new Calabasas facility – discussing issues ranging from religious liberty to Reagan’s foreign policy leadership. All events are FREE, and while the full schedule is linked below, here are some highlights:
JAN 24 / Malibu / 1p-4.30p: “The Lost History of Western Civilization Conference”. Hear some of America’s top historians argue for teaching Western Civ in high school and college.
FEB 6 / Malibu / 5.30p-7p: “The Role of Religion in Politics & the Role of Politics in Religion”. Partnering with Yeshiva University, learn about the impact of the Hebrew Scriptures on the American Founding – particularly on issues related to religious liberty.
MAR 12 / Malibu / 6p-7.30p: “Debate: Capitalism vs. Socialism”. UC Berkeley Econ Professor Emmanuel Saez will debate Reagan economist, Art Laffer, about the value of free market economics.
Again, all of our events are on our website (linked through the button below). These are great evenings in Malibu and Calabasas, and I hope you’ll invite friends to one of these unique events.
I look forward to seeing you in the coming months!
Best,
P.
