Camarillo, California – As we move forward through this health and economic crisis, City staff wants to know what information and updates our community members would like to receive about COVID-19 and its impacts on our community.
Throughout this difficult time amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, one of our goals is to keep the Camarillo community informed and updated, by sharing information that you need to know and resources that may benefit you. As a result of the closure of Camarillo City Hall, cancellation of City events, and constant changes due to the crisis, the City has been sending messages to the community via press releases, updating resources and frequently asked questions on the City’s COVID-19 webpage (www.cityofcamarillo.org/covid19), sharing information on Facebook, and sending information through email distribution in coordination with our valued community partners.
Please participate in a brief survey on the City’s COVID-19 webpage (www.cityofcamarillo.org/covid19) to share what information is most important to you, so that we may continue to be responsive and supportive to our community members to get us all through this challenging time.

I would like to know why are some of the stores in Camarillo insisting on face covers. When the country of Ventura has no mandate on face cover.
Makes no sense.
I’d like to hear numbers about cases and where people who’ve contracted the disease got it from. At one point I read we were having a spike in cases compared to Ventura and Oxnard. I would like to know if there’s any data that accounts for why people are getting it. Is there a church in town that’s refused to stop giving services or are there parties being thrown? I’m not throwing stones at anyone. I just want us all to be informed about what we can do to stay healthy and slow the spread of this.
Hi. I no longer live in Camarillo; I moved to Ventura in Sept. And I still volunteer at the Friends’ Bookstore, so I’m curious, too.
Have seen no press releases. First time I have heard about this. My main question is who make the call on when the library opens
