President Trump sends a message to The Return: Prayer for Life, Israel and the Nations rises up from National Mall

    By Michael Hernandez

WASHINGTON, D.C.—”On the day of the return, the First Lady and I join millions of Christians in the United States and around the world as we turn our hearts to our Lord and Savior,” said President Donald J. Trump in a message sent to The Return organizers Sept. 26. “The trials and tribulations the American people have faced has been great. The resolve of our citizenry fortified by our faith in God has helped us as one nation under God.”

The Return was seen by millions, broadcast live by at least six Christian satellite networks, in 150 nations, all six continents, simulcasted in 90 languages. The event replay can be seen by going to TheReturn.org.

The two-day event which began Friday featured speakers praying for life on the day that President Trump nominated Amy Coney Barrett, a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals of the 7th Circuit—a devout pro-life Catholic as his nominee to replace the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.  Prayer also focused on Israel and the Nations. Other issues prayed for included sex trafficking and the persecution of Christians around the world as well as prayers of repentance and for revival.

”The world is being shaken for us to look up,” said Anne Graham Lotz, founder of Angel Ministries and the second daughter of evangelist Billy Graham in an opening message at the massive gathering for prayer and repentance at the National Mall. “Pour out your Spirit. We repent of our sin,” prayed Graham.

“What happens to America will touch the world,” said Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, author of The Harbinger (2012) and co-chair of The Return who broke a clay vessel to illustrate his message on repentance which he said was ignored by Israel and has been ignored in America, especially after 9-11.

“Let revival begin now. Let us be that people of revival. But if days of darkness must come; let them not overcome the light of day and shine against darkness; that we might light up the world. It is our time to change history by prayer and repentance” with Cahn directing prayer in our four directions: East, West, South, North.

Cahn referenced the curse of abortion–the shedding of innocent blood over the land which has now reached over 60 million babies and has led to God’s judgment. Just like the prophet Jeremiah gave Israel a prophetic symbol, America was given a symbol 400 years ago through the Mayflower Compact which was also referenced by The Return co-chair Pastor Kevin Jessip.

“Let us not forget the character or origin of our government in America through the signing of the Mayflower Compact on Nov. 11, 1620. We are to renew the covenant made by the founding fathers of our nation. Our great nation was created by men and women of deep faith.

“Only three percent of the population–sometimes called those of the “black robe”—fought in the American Revolution with another 10 percent supplying goods and ammunition. Some 37 percent fought against us and with England. Today, 37 percent are fighting with left-wing ideologues to destroy this nation under God.”

Cahn blew the shofar seven times to release:

    1. The power and purpose of God on earth.
    2. The power of Jericho breaking down walls, strongholds, and idols.
    3. The power of return and repentance in turning back all things prayed about.
    4. The power of salvation, redemption, and forgiveness.
    5. The power of anointing people of God.
    6. The power of revival and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
    7. The power of God’s will for the nations of the world and our lives.
