Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On 12/13/20 at approximately 1412, the Ventura Police Department Command Center received information that a stolen box trailer was in the area of Olive St and Bell Way. Officers searched the area and located the trailer, which was hitched to an SUV in the 300 block of West Barnett St. Officers contacted Timothy Dalrymple and Brandon Harman, who were both standing inside the trailer. Dalrymple immediately fled the scene and went into a nearby residence. Officers contacted Dalrymple at the residence and placed him under arrest for an outstanding felony warrant.
Officers determined through their investigation that the SUV that had been pulling the trailer belonged to Dalrymple. During a search of the vehicle, officers located ammunition belonging to Brandon Harman, a convicted felon. Dalrymple was arrested for 496d(a) PC- possession of a stolen vehicle, 148(a)(1) PC- resisting arrest, and his warrant. Harmon was arrested for 30305(a)(1) PC- felon in possession of ammunition
The trailer was returned to the owner.
A search of the Ventura County Superior Court website shows that Harold Dalyrmple has prior convictions for weapons, property crimes, and narcotics. Harman has prior convictions for narcotics and property crimes.
