Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On January 24th at 5:34 PM the owner of a vehicle that was reported stolen earlier on 01/24/21 saw the vehicle traveling in the area of Telephone Rd. and Victoria Ave. Ventura Police Patrol Officers responded as the owner continued to follow the vehicle and update the Ventura Police Command Center about its location. The vehicle entered a parking lot in the 5700 Block of Ralston Street. As Officers arrived in the area, Flores was seen walking away from the vehicle and was apprehended without incident. Flores was arrested for unlawful taking of a vehicle and burglary. The vehicle was stolen from a carport in the 5400 block of Everglades St.
A review of the Ventura County Superior Court website shows that Flores has prior arrests for burglary, possession of stolen property, and possession of a controlled substance. Flores is currently on Post Release Offender Supervision (PROS) in Los Angeles County.
