LOS ANGELES — U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will welcome 44 new U.S. citizens during a special ceremony at the American Heroes Air Show in honor of Veterans Day on Saturday at the Hansen Dam Recreational Area. USCIS will honor Veterans Day this year by holding more than 90 ceremonies naturalizing more than 4,440 current and former members of the military and their families.
USCIS Deputy District Director Joseph Hackbarth will be delivering the Oath of Allegiance to the new U.S. citizens while Los Angeles County Sheriff Officer Raffi Bahadarian will provide remarks. The USAF Civil Air Patrol will do the presentation of colors and the Composite Squadron Honor Guard will be escorted by the LAPD Calvary Rough Riders on horseback.
