    Americans Are The Most Dangerous People To The American Left

    The United States founders were idealists. They believed that government was but a necessary evil and that less government was always better government. They believed that rights and liberties came from God and not from government. They understood that mankind is fickle and being such, the majority cannot be trusted. Because of these beliefs, we were founded as a Constitutional Republic. In a Constitutional Republic, the law is written and conveyed to all. The Constitution is the Supreme law of the land and “rule of law prevails”. Rights and liberties given by God cannot be taken from the people This was the purpose of the Bill of Rights, to reinforce that belief.

    For more than 100 years, there has been an element growing within our country. That element believes that big government is always better. That element believes that the people are incapable of making wise decisions, and it is the role of the government, or the role of the bureaucracy which is supposedly comprised of the wise or experts and technocrats, that must rule over, control, and make decisions for the people. This is despotism. Despotism is defined as absolute rule by the government over the people. The transformation of the United States from a Constitutional Republic, rule by the people over themselves, to despotic rule, or absolute rule of the elite over the people, is now occurring, or has occurred. Obama told us it was his mission to complete the transformation when on October 30, 2008, he said, “We are five days from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

    The possibility of such a transformation had been asserted in the 1830’s by Alexis de Tocqueville. He told us:

     

    “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.”

    “Society will develop a new kind of servitude which covers the surface of society with a network of complicated rules, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate. It does not tyrannize but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd.”

    “It’s not an endlessly expanding list of rights — the ‘right’ to education, the ‘right’ to health care, the ‘right’ to food and housing. That’s not freedom, that’s dependency. Those aren’t rights, those are the rations of slavery — hay and a barn for human cattle.”

    “Tyranny in democratic republics does not proceed in the same way, however. It ignores the body and goes straight for the soul. The master no longer says: You will think as I do or die. He says: You are free not to think as I do. You may keep your life, your property, and everything else. But from this day forth you shall be as a stranger among us. You will retain your civic privileges, but they will be of no use to you. For if you seek the votes of your fellow citizens, they will withhold them, and if you seek only their esteem, they will feign to refuse even that. You will remain among men, but you will forfeit your rights to humanity. When you approach your fellow creatures, they will shun you as one who is impure. And even those who believe in your innocence will abandon you, lest they, too, be shunned in turn. Go in peace, I will not take your life, but the life I leave you with is worse than death.”

     

    There are others who also had foresight and were able to tell America how the transformation would occur.

     

    “The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable.” H.L. Mencken

    “Did you really think that we want those laws to be observed? We want them broken. There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced nor objectively interpreted—and you create a nation of law-breakers—and then you cash in on guilt.” Ayn Rand

     

    Is the transformation from a Constitutional Republic that embraces Individualism, that protects without exception the rights and liberties given to each of us by God, to a collectivist ideal of a Marxist totalitarian state inevitable. I choose to believe not. I choose to believe that Individualism, the principle upon which the United States was founded, can endure the present onslaught of the evil, the deprivation, the diabolical, and the self-serving forces of collectivism that strives to transform the United States to a Marxist totalitarian state.

    I also realize that to withstand this collectivist movement, all Freedom Loving Americans will have to be willing to place the blessings of individual freedom and liberties above the hatred, the insults, the attacks, and the demonization and ostracization that is evitable by this diabolical transformation movement.

    All Freedom Loving Americans have to come to a full understanding of why our founding principles are so necessary. All Freedom Loving Americans will have to come to a full understanding of why the Transformation movement is so detrimental.

    All Freedom Loving Americans must commit to standing firm for these principles. We must be willing to be vigilant about “Setting Brushfires of Freedom.” We must have the same attitude toward freedom that Patrick Henry expressed when he said, “Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”

    Yes, I do believe in God given grace, and God given rights and liberties, as did those wise and brave American colonists. I will fight for and proclaim those founding principles for individual liberties until my last breath, as did the founders. Each American must make their own commitment. Will you commit to freedom or slavery? There is no compromise.

    Samuel Adams said, “It does not take a majority to prevail… but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.” If we are to remain free, we must be about setting brushfires of freedom.
