Nobel peace prize winning Milton Friedman had a passion for education. That’s why he was such a strong proponent of school choice. He knew that free-market forces more than anything else, would and could improve education. School choice doesn’t benefit the rich, it benefits the poor. 

Larry Sand, president of California Teachers Empowerment Network highlights the importance of Friedman’s free-market principles in education.
