LOS ANGELES, CA – The majestic Crest Theater in Westwood is being taken over by dogs at Los Angeles’ first-ever Dog Film Festival™ on June 5. Celebrating the remarkable canine-human bond, the Dog Film Festival™ is the perfect place to gather with friends and other dog people in the city. 1. Celebrate the canine-human bond: A tribute to our most beloved four-legged companions, the Dog Film Festival™ will feature films that illuminate the many ways dogs have made the lives of people better, happier and more fun.
2. BYOD – Bring your own dog! The Dog Film Festival™ is proud to welcome pets into the Crest Theater as its canine guests of honor.

7. The Crest Theater: The historical and beautiful Crest Theater in Westwood has housed some of the best live performances, screenings and events since 1940.

9. Two screenings: The Dog Film Festival™ will feature two separate screenings of two entirely different programs. The 1:30 PM screening features more fun, uplifting and light-hearted shorts while the 4:00 PM screening focuses more on sophisticated narratives and documentary-style films.

The Dog Film Festival™ will take place on Sunday, June 5 at the Crest Theater (1262 Westwood Blvd., Los Angeles 90024). Tickets to the Pooch Party are $75 and it will take place from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital (1900 South Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles 90024). Tickets available online.
