Act of kindness: Two police officers brighten an Oxnard Christmas

With so much negative and heartbreaking news it’s good to learn of an act of kindness that two Oxnard police officers performed this Saturday, December 20th.

From the Oxnard PD Police Facebook page: “Oxnard Police Officers Pulido and Garcia responded to a residence call for service. During the call, they learned that the two boys living at the residence would not be receiving gifts these holidays because the family could not afford them. The kids and this family left such an impression on these officers, that they knew the call for service was not cleared. They made a stop at a local store to purchase gifts before returning to the residence to present them to the family. Look at those smiles. Thank you, Officers Pulido and Garcia for demonstrating your character, representing the men and women of our Department, and your showing of compassion. Let us all remember what these holidays are all about.”
