Active shooter in San Bernardino, Calif.; 20 victims reported

12-2 evening update: SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) —
Fourteen people were confirmed killed and 17 more wounded in a mass shooting at a San Bernardino community social services building.

CBS News confirms one of the suspects is named Syed Farook, an American citizen. One of the other suspects is reportedly his brother. The female’s relationship to either man is unknown.

FULL DETAILS BELOW > > > >12-2-15 SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Police in the Southern California city of San Bernardino were responding Wednesday to reports of an active shooter at a social services facility.

There were reports of multiple victims, Lt. Rich Lawhead said.

Triage units were being set up in the area, and some people were seen being wheeled away on gurneys. Others walked quickly as they were led away by authorities.

No arrests have been made.

Police were working to secure the scene in the inland region about 60 miles east of Los Angeles, Sgt. Vicky Cervantes said.

At a Shell gas station about a block from the shooting site, store manager Ana Fuentes said there was a flood of police activity in the area.
