The DOT page, titled “Got Flights? Know Your Rights”, features nine topics that deal directly with consumer issues. They include tarmac delays, flights cancellations or delays, reservations and ticketing, refunds, accessibility, lost or damaged baggage, and bumping and oversales.

We start out with these faulty conditions each time we enter an airliner:
1) Cramped seating.
2) recirculating air where you know someone is coughing due to some illness. And add to this….a child screaming near you.
3) Your mood begins to be affected by these conditions and only gets worse if you’re not only charged a fee for this, but now you might be treated with disrespect from airline employee’s.
