Alumni of any Boys and Girls Club asked to join in the festivies at the 65th anniversary of the Boys

Alumni of any Boys & Girls Club are invited to help celebrate the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme’s 65^th anniversary on October 3 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Harriet H. Samuelsson club facility at 126 E. 7^th Street, Oxnard 93030.

The event, “Generations Coming Home: Celebrating 65 Years of Impact,” will feature a barbecue, music, a trivia contest and a memorabilia display. Attendees will tour through the Club’s original site and see how youth programming and the facility has changed. The event is free to attend, but registration is required at https://tinyurl.com/generationscominghome. Food and drinks are being sponsored by event chair Richard Duarte, an alumnus of the club in Boyle Heights, and his wife, Dolores.
