Ann Kallas does it again!

Kallas’s story on the Port Hueneme City Council meeting 10/3 continues to show her bias for her friends on the council.  When she mentions that council members  Hensley and Figg voted against adding a new board member for two meetings before the Nov election she states “they killed the motion”.  I don’t remember her ever saying that about Sharkey, Breeze or Schnoops (Ed. note: he is probably referring to Councilwoman Sylvia Schnopp) when they voted in tandem to vote down a motion put forth by Hensley or Figg. Besides, Schnoop’s motion for a new council member was a waste of council time and many in attendance laughed at the idea of such a motion.  When councilman Figg proposed a motion for a comprehensive water study Sharkey and Schnoops voted against it.  Kallas did not say they “killed” the motion.  The  majority let a water study lay idle for over a year.
Again the Star management has allowed Kallas to write with such bias for her friends that she makes Fox News actually seem “fair and balanced”.
Editor’s note: Well, also allows Tom Dunn to write with bias, but we label opinion pieces “Column” or “Editorial.” We welcome alternative opinions- address to [email protected], or post a reader comment.
