This wasn’t what we’d originally planned. But when, in addition to being a force for freedom as president of the American Freedom Alliance, Dr. Siegemund lost her teaching job as a direct result of her support of Western Civilization, we felt the choice was clear: we would honor her as our 2019 Hero of Conscience. We salute her for her steadfast and courageous defense of our freedoms, and for her standing for countless others who are, like her, casualties of the Left’s intolerance of anyone whose views are different from their own.
