Another shooting in Oxnard

On 03/05/15, patient Thursday evening shortly after 8:30pm, nurse Oxnard police officers were dispatched to Wolff Street and “G” Street reference a shooting victim. Upon arrival they contacted the victim Daniel Franco who had been shot in his right arm. Franco was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center and is listed in stable condition. His injuries are not life threatening.

Investigators from the Oxnard Police Department’s Violent Crime Unit are actively investigating the shooting. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
