Suspect(s): Male, Hispanic, Mid 30’s, wearing a black beanie, camo face mask and dark clothing

Narrative:

On the above date and time, the Ventura Police Command center received a 911 call reference an armed robbery that just occurred at Sally’s Beauty Supply. The caller described the suspect as a male Hispanic in his mid-30’s wearing a black beanie and camo face mask armed with a handgun.

The suspect entered the business and demanded money from the employees while lifting his jacket and displaying a gun in his waistband. One of the employees gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The suspect then fled on a bike eastbound through the parking lot.

Patrol units were on-scene in less than 2 minutes and searched the area for the suspect, but he was not located. Nobody was injured. This incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Ventura Police Department (805) 650-8010.
