Carmen Abelleira: Reclaimed Stories
The creator of the Museum’s newest Cellar exhibit, Reclaimed Stories will share the backstories of how her childhood in Cuba, inspiration from found junk, and the creative traditions of South America, India and Africa entwine together to become her artistic tales. Enjoy an informal discussion with Abelleira about the imaginary narratives that help structure her various series of works.
