The decision by Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to censor President Donald J. Trump is a dangerous precedent and assault on the 1st Amendment. If a president can be censored what does that say about the 1st Amendment freedoms of the nation’s citizenry?
U.S. lawmakers must move to repeal Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996 which provided immunity for website publishers from third-party content but has now created a 1984 George Orwell nightmare in which these tech monopolies can choose who they censor and what information flow they allow on their platforms.
The problem with lambasting any violence at the nation’s capitol on Jan. 6 is that lawmakers, Big Tech companies and mainstream media were silent during BLM and Antifa rioting and burning of American cities.
Ari Fleischer, George W Bush’s former press secretary, said on Fox News Thursday: “What is the difference between the left-wing fringe, BLM, that lit police stations on fire, tried to light a federal courthouse on fire, occupied two cities, looted and engaged in violence, and what the people did yesterday in the Capitol? There’s not much of a difference at all. It all needs to be condemned.”
The double standard is obvious. Violence is allowable when it serves the purposes of social justice warriors and the leftists who push this agenda but when it involves those from the right; it is intolerable.
The gathering in Washington D.C. to protest election fraud organized by four separate groups could have very well brought together one million or more Patriots who came to give their support to President Trump and Christians who also came to pray. Yet, the mainstream media only focused on what they called “the mob”—the one-hundredth of one percent that rushed the U.S. Capitol who may have even been incited by Antifa members dressed in Trump gear.
This writer personally knows three individuals who will remain unnamed that went to D.C.: a pastor, a prayer ministry leader, and the leader of a nonprofit working with churches. I can personally vouch that these three individuals went to the nation’s capitol to pray.
Democrat lawmakers which included Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader (D-NY) called today for the removal of President Trump from office with another impeachment or through provisions within the 25th Amendment.
Maybe, this is why our Democratic America is under siege and possibly that is why a few Trump supporters could not contain their anger for four years of hatred against their elected President. These Constitutional conservatives would never wish that hatred on Joe Biden.
Almost all Trump supporters and many Democrats believe that the election was stolen. These Trump supporters also are frustrated that their concerns have been ignored. A constitutional republic requires that the citizenry believe that elections have integrity.
FBI Director Christopher Wray condemned Wednesday’s chaos as did the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Where were these voices during the summer of Antifa and BLM burning down the country? Why the silence from Christian leaders regarding the eagerly adopted abortion policies that Democrats have been pushing?
The nation has embraced two systems of justice: one for Democrats and one for Republicans. Democrats even openly talk about retaliation against Trump supporters. Yet, there is no outcry about such rhetoric.
Is this the United States of America we want? Is this the legacy of a great nation that we pass on to our children?

This is ridiculous. Trump and free speech have never been in the same room together. This is the jerk who calls the media the enemy of the people.
Is it true that any Antifa members caught are off the hook? It serves right that the betrayal of most of the republican senators to our President and Yes; Donald J Trump is still our President tonight, may wish today they hadn’t done that. We will never have an election again, unless the truth about Voter Intergrity & the Dominion & Smart Mactic Software is revealed to the Republic. Everyone should be shopping their values from now on.
With the new administration, you will get more attacks on free speech, more widespread, and more one-sided. Big Tech, social media and those in power now, have gone the blatant route of suppression and censorship. Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Idi Amin, Castro and Saul Lewinsky, would all be proud (did I leave anyone out?). If you don’t think the Constitution is under attack, just wait. It’s not just the 1st Admnt. they’re panning on rewriting.
