George began his Scouting career as a District Executive at the Los Angeles Area Council. There he was promoted to District Director, Finance Director, Director of Finance Services, Director of Learning for Life, and Director of All Market Operations. Later the council went through a merger with Pasadena. As a part of the Greater Los Angeles Area Council, George’s latest role was as their Deputy Scout Executive.
George enjoys golf, basketball, swimming, bicycling, running, and spending time with his family. He is fluent in Spanish. He has a Master of Science in Leadership and Human Development from Murray State and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles.
George and his wife, Lorraine, have 3 children including 2 Eagle Scout sons; George, David and Rachel. They will be re-locating from Downey.
