Agoura, CA – In accordance with local health department recommendations, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley (BGCGCV) have decided to postpone the 17th Annual Superstars of the Year Celebration scheduled for Sunday, March 22. The BGCGCV will announce a new date once more information is obtained from local authorities.
“Safety is the number one priority of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley, and we are doing everything possible to keep children, our staff, and volunteers protected from the COVID-19 virus,” stated Dr. Crystal Nāone, President/CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley. “We greatly appreciate the community’s understanding and support of our efforts to keep kids, their families, Club staff, and our community safe,” she continued.
Despite having to postpone the celebration, BGCGCV is so appreciative for the ongoing community support to help reach their goals. “We anticipate an even greater need as the situation unfolds and are grateful for the continuing support from our community,” stated Nāone. “We thank the community for helping us to come together and provide vital social and academic support during good and bad times,” she added.
