Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On August 22 at 11:58 AM, , the Ventura Police Command Center received a call of a fight that was starting outside of Jack in the Box at 11044 Citrus Dr. As officers arrived, only the victim was still at the location. He went on to tell officers that he was outside of the restaurant when a Gold pickup pulled up and the occupants began to argue with him. During the argument some racial slurs were directed towards the victim. At some point during the argument, the victim noticed that an individual in the back seat was pointing a shotgun at him. The argument ended shortly after, and the pickup drove away.
No one was injured during this incident, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information about the pickup is asked to call the Ventura Police Departments non- emergency line at 805-650-8010.
