Bryan Caforio Opens Campaign Office in Santa Clarita

Caforio now has two field offices open fourteen months before the election

Today, 25th Congressional District candidate Bryan Caforio celebrated the opening of his Santa Clarita field office with supporters and local elected officials. In July, Caforio opened his Antelope Valley field office. With two offices open fourteen months before the election, Caforio’s campaign is not wasting any time reaching out to voters.

Local elected leaders who joined Caforio for the grand opening included Christy Smith, President of the Newhall School Board and candidate for California’s 38th Assembly District, along with Saugus Union School District Board Member Chris Trunkey. Dozens of volunteers knocked on hundreds of doors and phonebanked voters in both English and Spanish.

“Our campaign is powered by this army of volunteers that dedicated their Sunday to talking to voters about what we stand for—Medicare for All, well-paying jobs for hardworking families, comprehensive immigration reform, protecting Social Security and Medicare, a clean environment, and so much more,” said Bryan Caforio. “For the next fourteen months, we’ll be out every day making sure voters know that we don’t have to live with the dysfunction in Washington and that there’s a better way forward.”

Since announcing his campaign less than four months ago, Caforio already has support from several local labor unions, dozens of local elected and appointed officials in the district, the Chair of the Ventura County Democratic Party, and Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom. Polling shows Caforio tied with one of the country’s most vulnerable Republican incumbents.

The son of two public school teachers, Caforio was born and raised in Southern California, attended UCLA and Yale Law School, worked for a United States federal judge, and practices as an attorney taking on some of the world’s biggest banks and corporations. Bryan lives in Santa Clarita with his wife Lisa, who serves as a Deputy City Attorney at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.

California’s 25th Congressional District covers northern Los Angeles County and part of Ventura County, including the Santa Clarita Valley, Antelope Valley, and Simi Valley. Hillary Clinton won the district by more than six points in 2016, registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans, and the district is majority-minority. The district is now considered a “toss-up” and is held by Tea Party Republican Steve Knight, whom national Republicans have publicly identified as one of their most vulnerable incumbents.

I wonder what Mr. Canforio would have said at that same time President trump gave his stataments, shortly after that violent occcurrence at Charlottesville?

We True Americans witnessed the previous occupant of the Oval Office REFUSE to call the Radical Islamic Terrorists by what they did and still are, but all of a sudden President Trump BETTER say the right words despite the limited information at that time.

Time to get moving in a different direction; too many liberal loonies on the loose and spreading the infectuous plague of discrimination against conservatives.
