Carbajal, Brownley lead but Hill and Knight tied
With Democrats projected to take control of the House of Representatives, early results showed tri-county Democratic incumbents Salud Carbajal and Julia Brownley (59%) with large margins, but the hotly contested 25th District race was split at 50 percent each.
With 30 percent of the vote in as of 9:30 p.m., incumbent Republican Steve Knight had 35,918 votes and Democratic challenger Katie Hill had 35,974 votes. Read more
