Under Federal law it is illegal to give an illegal alien unemployment payments. That has not stopped Gov. Newsom from using a total of $125 million for those that violate our laws. No surprise here—he also protects rapists, murderers, and domestic violence cr4iminals from deportation. Newsom actually wants them walking our streets. Now a lawsuit have been filed to stop this outright corruption. While I agree with the lawsuit, it is a Federal crime to give such money to illegal aliens. Will Attorney General Barr indict the Governor for breaking the law? If not, why not?
“While more than 3 million California citizens are awaiting state unemployment benefits because of Governor Gavin Newsom’s order for statewide lockdown, the governor announced last week he was extending $75 million to undocumented immigrants to be passed-through unnamed regional non-profit associations.
However, the Center for American Liberty’s lawsuit, in coordination with The Dhillon Law Group, filed an emergency petition with the California Supreme Court Wednesday asking the Court to immediately halt Governor Newsom’s appropriation of $75 million for the undocumented immigrants.
As attorney Mark Meuser with the Center for American Liberty and the Dhillon Law Group explained, the federal government and California both have statutes that prohibit providing unemployment benefits to undocumented immigrants, and violates the state’s Constitution.”
Congratulations to Harmeet Dhillon and Mark Meuser for taking this action. Also, congrats to Ricardo Benitez and Cynthia Martinez for being the plaintiffs. Both are GOP Assembly candidates, showing courage and leadership. We want leaders in the legislature—Ricardo and Cynthia are true leaders.
