Call to Action ! Email Ventura Board of Supervisors – Open Restaurants for Indoor Dining

The Ventura Board of Supervisors meeting is next Tuesday and there is nothing on the schedule for restaurants opening for indoor seating, but also not for closing outdoor seating. Looks like they are just waiting around.

We need to send emails to the County Board of Supervisors requesting that an item be added to the agenda to OPEN Indoor Dining at 50%.

    Sample Letter:

    Dear Supervisor,

I noticed that the re-opening of indoor dining is not listed on the agenda for next weeks meeting. There is no science to prove that indoor dining where tables are 6′ apart are causing an increase in Covid spread. All restaurants have implemented safety protocols as required by the health department to ensure this safety.

If people are allowed to fly on airports, less than 2′ apart for hours, then eating at a restaurant at 6′ apart for 45 minutes is not a risk.

Please add opening indoor dining to the agenda so that the board can make the appropriate decision to re-open indoor dining. Many of our businesses are closing and we need your leadership and courage to stand up for our community.
