Camarillo, California – A new chair and blanket policy is in place for this year’s summer concert series at Constitution Park.
This year, Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District and the City of Camarillo are hosting free community concerts on four Saturdays throughout the summer. As we gear up for the concerts, please take note that a new chair and blanket policy is in place. In prior years, the community has placed chairs and blankets at Constitution Park as early as Thursday. This year, guests may place blankets and chairs in the park beginning at 5:00pm on the Friday prior to each concert. Items left unattended prior to 5:00pm on Friday will be collected and placed to the side of the stage.
Here is the line-up of summer bands:
June 29 – Upstream (Reggae/Calypso)
July 27 – Mighty Cash Cats (Country/Bluegrass)
August 24 – Bleeding Harp (Rhythm & Blues)
September 21 – L.A. Vation – U2 tribute (Rock & Roll)
Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. at Constitution Park (corner of Carmen Drive and Paseo Camarillo, next to City Hall). Guests may bring a picnic or enjoy dinner from a variety of on-site food trucks.
