Camarillo Rotary gets new president and plans big year ahead

Their new President Kevin Nunn was installed on July 9. Kevin along with his brother Kyle own Camarillo Plumbing & Paint and Aire Serv Heating & Air Conditioning located in Old Town. Camarillo Plumbing was started in 1961 by their father, vialis 40mg Bob Nunn, who was president of Camarillo Rotary club in 1981. Kevin brings a lot of energy and common sense to the job.
Here are just a few of the upcoming Meetings & Events:
On September 3, Dan Dudzinski will talk about ShelterBox, which delivers pre-packed emergency relief packages for global disaster response. Dan is a first responder and training coordinator for the Rotary Global Partner ShelterBox International.
The Summer BBQ, on Saturday September 13, is open to anyone who would like to come, have fun and learn more about Rotary. Please send RSVP to [email protected]
On September 17, Howard Davis will talk about the Moorpark College Athletics Department.
On October 8, there will be a panel of speakers sharing historic stories about the incorporation of the City of Camarillo in 1964. The panel will include Stan Daily and Adele Stuebing Walsh.
Rotary International, with the motto “Service Above Self”, has more than 34,000 clubs worldwide. Members volunteer in communities at home and abroad to support education, provide clean water, alleviate hunger, improve health and sanitation, and eradicate the disease of polio. Camarillo is fortunate to have two Rotary clubs, meeting Wednesday noon and Tuesday morning.
