Camarillo, California – The City of Camarillo is asking about consumer confidence as City staff prepare a plan for economic recovery.
The community is invited to provide input on reopening using an online survey, which has been developed in partnership with the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce and Russell Fischer Business Collection. Click here to take the survey. The survey closes at 7:00 pm Friday, June 19, 2020.
The City in the process of developing a plan for economic recovery in Camarillo. When it comes to the phased reopening of businesses and industries, the decision about when certain industries may reopen will be made by the County Public Health Officer, to ensure the community reopens and the local workforce gets back to work as safely as possible. In addition, the County cannot reopen until such time as the Governor modifies the Statewide order and returns full or partial authority to local agencies.
Our goal is to help Camarillo businesses reopen safely and quickly, per the County’s guidance. The City is actively developing a plan for economic recovery, and we want to know how comfortable our community is returning to various businesses and what our businesses can do to make customers feel safe.
“If consumer habits have shifted, we want to make sure we provide our businesses with relevant information so that they may adapt and invite their customers to return with confidence”, explained Georg Winkler, the City of Camarillo’s Economic Development Coordinator.
