VENTURA, California – District Attorney Gregory D. Totten announced today that Elsworth Dennis Cadle (DOB 09/08/52), of Moorpark, has been charged with murder for the killing of Mark Milton, also of Moorpark, on January 3, 2020. The complaint also alleges that Cadle personally used a firearm causing death.
Cadle was arrested on January 3, 2020, by Ventura County Sheriff’s Office detectives.
Cadle appeared in court on January 7, 2020. The arraignment was continued to February 7, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. in courtroom 13 of the Ventura County Superior Court. Cadle is currently in custody with bail set at $3 million.
