Mr. Kolwitz will join the Community Development team under Director Lambert’s leadership.  Mr. Kolwitz will be responsible for current and long-range planning efforts including the significant workload of development projects as well as the Ormond Beach Restoration and Access Plan and the implementation of the newly adopted Downtown Development Code.  “I am very pleased that Mr. Kolwitz has chosen to join our team,” said City Manager Alexander Nguyen. “He clearly comes with a strong resume and will continue our focus on customer service, implementing the new improvements to the development review process, and setting the course for the City’s land use future.”

Mr. Kolwitz says of his appointment: “I’m excited to join the City of Oxnard’s team and to lead the Planning Division as we build upon past successes and untapped potential.  I’m eager to engage with the team and community stakeholders as we implement the City’s development vision and economic objectives.”
