City of Oxnard seeking volunteers for homeless count

The Oxnard Housing Department is seeking assistance from community members with this year’s annual point-in-time homeless count on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017.

The point-in-time homeless count is very important for the City of Oxnard’s efforts to address homelessness. The number of people counted in Oxnard affects the funding that will available to the City of Oxnard in future years.

Date/Time: 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017

Location: Multi-Service Center, 1500 Camino del Sol, Room 20, in Oxnard

The count is expected to be completed at 12 p.m. We ask that volunteers be prepared for potential rain or cold weather. Please wear shoes that are suitable for walking outdoors.
