City of Thousand Oaks Hosts Annual State of the City Address at CLU

site arial, ask sans-serif;”>The City of Thousand Oaks will host their annual State of the City Address on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at California Lutheran University in the Gilbert Sports & Fitness Center. Mayor Adam will address the current state of the City of Thousand Oaks; discuss the accomplishments that have been made under his leadership and offer highlights of what is on the horizon for 2016. The event will include a served lunch and presentation of colors by the US Army.

Al Adam was first elected to the City Council in 2012 after serving the City of Thousand Oaks in various capacities including Planning Commissioner and Founder for the Alliance for the Arts. He is currently serving his first term as mayor and is also a Managing Director of Investments for Wells Fargo Advisors. As Mayor, he is the chair of the Ventura Council of Governments, a member of the Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County and a member of the Association of Ventura County Cities. Al and his wife Marilyn have twin daughters that are presently in high school and have been educated in the Conejo Valley Unified School District since kindergarten.
