A scheme revealed by a Wisconsin sheriff that likely involved felony crimes of allowing nursing home staff to fill out 2020 presidential election ballots for cognitively impaired residents, including one who died a month before the election, continues to blow up the idea that the election was without flaw.

That’s the conclusion from John Solomon, who writes at Just the News that other factors include “Election mismanagement in Atlanta. Unlawful election instructions in Wisconsin. And 50,000 questionable ballots in Arizona, plus several criminal cases for illegal ballot harvesting and inmate voting.”

He explained, “Eleven months after Donald Trump was ousted from office, the narrative that the 2020 election was clean and secure has frayed like a well-worn shoelace. The challenges of the COVID pandemic, the aggressive new tactics of voting activists and the desire of Democrats to make the collection and delivery of ballots by third parties legal in states where harvesting is expressly forbidden has muddied the establishment portrait and awakened the nation to the painful reality its election system — particularly in big urban areas — is far from perfection.”

WND had reported a day earlier on states that are auditing their 2020 results and the campaign for ballot integrity in some.

Also, the fact is that Mark Zuckerberg of the company formerly called Facebook dumped $420 million into the hands of mostly leftist elections officials with instructions to recruit voters in Democrat neighborhoods.

Further, various officials illegally changed election law to accommodate mail-in ballots, which favored Democrats, the issue brought up by Sheriff Christopher Schmaling of Racine County, Wisconsin.

On Thursday, he charged, “Election statute was in fact not just broken, but shattered by members of the Wisconsin Elections Commission.”

He cited evidence that absentee votes were cast on behalf of cognitively impaired nursing home residents. His review followed a concern raised by a complaint from a relative of a nursing home resident who passed away last October, before the election.

But that patient’s severe cognitive decline and death did not prevent her from casting an absentee ballot, the sheriff said.

The resident was at the Ridgewood Care Facility when she died, and Racine County Sgt. Michael Luell investigated, Just the News reported.

The evidence then revealed that there was “an unusual surge in voting activity at the care facility. Luell reported that eight out of 42 families of residents at Ridgewood said their loved ones did not possess the cognitive ability to vote, despite having done so.

Just the News reported those nursing home ballots probably involve felony crimes. Schmaling noted investigators found the residents’ “families said [voting] was not possible because the residents didn’t possess the cognitive ability to vote.”

“Schmaling dramatically accused the Wisconsin Elections Commission, the state’s election bureaucracy, of creating the conditions for such voting by mailing absentee ballots to nursing home residents who didn’t request them and empowering nursing home staff to fill out ballots on behalf of the residents,” Just the News reported.

The American Constitutional Rights Union described the situation in Racine as more proof that abuse of elderly and vulnerable voters is a nationwide problem.

ACRU President Lori Roman stated: “We applaud the Racine Wisconsin Sheriff’s Department for thoroughly investigating this complaint. And we are grateful to the family members of the elderly voters for the way in which they have stood up for their parents’ rights.”

The organization said its Vote Fraud Hotline brought in many actionable tips for handling by ACRU’s legal team and staff in the 2020 election season.

In fact, The Gateway Pundit said Schmaling believes the same circumstances were present in all of the state’s 72 counties, and the Wisconsin Elections Commission was scheduling an emergency meeting.

The state board has claimed the changes it approved were OK, specifically in saying Special Voting Deputies no longer had to go into nursing homes to help people vote. The changes also reportedly allowed staff members in nursing homes fill out ballots for residents, which appears to be in violation of state law.

Just the News reported, “The nursing home scheme alleged by Schmaling was also found in neighboring Michigan, where Democratic Attorney General Dana Nessel earlier this month announced three women were charged with voting fraud, including one who fraudulently filled out ballots in the names of nursing home residents without their permission.”

But the report noted that there are other ballot concerns in Wisconsin, one of several swing states that Joe Biden won by only thousands of votes.

“The non-partisan Legislative Audit Bureau released a sweeping report last month that accused election officials of engaging in ‘inconsistent administration’ of election laws, troublesome management of new drop boxes used to collect ballots during the pandemic, ineffective investigation of fraud complaints, and other problems,” Just the News said.

WND earlier reported that a retired state Supreme Court justice, Michael Gableman, reviewing the situation said he’d uncovered evidence of those changes in election procedures, which were not allowed to be made.

And the state Supreme Court has ruled that “election officials wrongly allowed tens of thousands of Wisconsin voters to skip voter ID requirements and file absentee ballots by declaring their concerns about COVID made them ‘indefinitely confined,'” Just the News reported.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., formerly headed the Senate Homeland Security Committee, which oversees elections, and said Schmaling’s revelations might “only be the tip of the iceberg of fraud in the 2020 election.”

The report noted in Georgia, which Trump also lost by a narrow vote, “have found evidence that its major urban voting center of Fulton County had significant problems administering the November election, so much so that state officials have begun the process of taking the county’s election management into receivership, removing local control for the 2022 election and beyond.”

And in Arizona, similarly a narrow win for Biden, “more than 50,000 ballots have been called into question and several matters referred to Attorney General Mark Brnovich for possible prosecution.”
