House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “classless and ill-mannered” action to stand up and rip her copy of President Donald J. Trump’s State of the Union Address while television cameras were still rolling at the conclusion of his remarks show why Democrats will lose the 2020 Presidential General Election.
Pelosi’s excuse: “It was the courteous thing to do considering the alternatives” only shows a bitter speaker who also knows she is losing her job as House Speaker as Republicans win back the House of Representatives in the General Election as well.
Pelosi’s frustration is evident. Earlier last year, she informed the nation that there should never be a partisan impeachment effort—yet she masterminded one with Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler—an effort that ends today as President Donald J. Trump is acquitted and exonerated.
“That is the attitude, she (Pelosi) has,” said House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy. “We will keep investigating the President because the President is lawless,” said House Judicial Chair Committee Jerry Nadler. A response was given by Congresswoman Liz Cheney, chair of the House Republican Conference, who said, “I want them (Schiff and Nadler) on more; when they talk about a never-ending investigation; never-ending impeachment; the America people see why elections matter.”
While the House Speaker has claimed that President Donald J. Trump will be impeached forever; she is the one that has disgraced the House Speaker position; and she is the one who will be “disgraced forever.”
This crude political stunt insulted not just President Trump; but the 44 presidents who came before him; and all Americans. While Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was calling President Trump “undignified”—it was Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats they came across to the American voters as “undignified”—especially to Middle America and working class Americans—not only Blue Collar workers—but also African Americans and Hispanic Americans who use to form the base of the Democrat Party.
President Donald J. Trump delivered one the more historic State of the Union Addresses. Of course mainstream media and Democrats have attacked the speech but in doing so—they have attacked veterans, African Americans, working class workers, and those living in the “inner cities” of America—which again use to be the base of the Democrat Party.
Mainstream media called the moving stories shared during the speech nothing less than a “reality show.” They could not support a grieving military wife or the parents of a daughter killed by terrorists; an inner school student in a quest for school choice; a family victimized by an illegal immigrant; inner-city assistance to a former veteran; celebration of a toddler’s life; the honoring of a Tuskegee Airmen and his great grandson; nor a talk show radio host receiving the Medal of Freedom.
Pelosi and her fellow Democrats have lost all compassion and become heartless. Her pettiness and child behavior reflects why Democrats are now poised to lose in 2020.
