    Comedians return to Thousand Oaks for Cabaret nights of Comedy throughout 2016

The first date is scheduled for Saturday, January 16 at 8:00 pm at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 W. Hillcrest Dr. The hour and a half show is for eighteen years and up only, and cocktails may be purchased with valid ID. Doors open at 7:30.

    This month’s lineup includes comics with credits from Fox, Dish Nation, The Hollywood Improv, the Comedy Store, Hulu, BET, Sirius Radio, Headline Punchline and much more.
    Jose Bolanos is known for his high energy and infectious laugh. With his arsenal of impressions, he guides you through his life using every day stereotypes and stories. From Seattle, Washington, he has a unique view on being a brown guy from the Pacific Northwest. He travels the country telling his jokes and sharing family stores. You’ve seen him on FOX on the TV show Dish Nation, and he’s a host of the number 1 morning radio show in Seattle and Portland called Brooke and Jubal in the Morning!

    Lukas Seely started comedy back in his hometown of Billings, MT before relocating to Seattle, WA in 2004. Lukas soon became a crowd favorite in Seattle Comedy scene and moved to Los Angeles, California where he regularly performs at The Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store and many other venues. He was nominated as an Emerging Comic in the New York Underground Comedy Festival. Recently he opened for Bill Burr on the “Billy Red State Tour.” Lukas has also worked w/ such names as Dane Cook, Damon Wayans, Russell Peters, Bobby Lee, Sarah Silverman, Ron White, Greg Giraldo, Daniel Tosh to name a few. Lukas performed his stand-up on FOX’s “Laughs,” and Showtime’s “Louie Anderson Presents” currently on Hulu.com.

    Billy Sorrells has been described as the quintessential perfect storm. Since setting up shop in Los Angeles this year, the actor, stand-up comic and independent filmmaker has emerged as an entertainment goldmine and the most talked about triple threat in La-La Land. Sorrells is best known for his role as “Peaches” in a popular series of Youtube parodies, which have amassed a staggering 15-million total views and counting, and is partnering with Entertainment giant Black Entertainment Television (BET) on a new project.

    Sean Leary performs nightly in Los Angeles whether it’s at a comedy club, bar, or theater. Sean won the 2013 Ice House Comedy Club Talent Showcase in Pasadena, CA and soon after became a paid regular. In 2014, Sean was selected to perform in the 1st ever San Diego Comedy Festival in San Diego, CA. In February 2014, Sean was the highest rated and viewed comedian on LAFFEST.com and won their first ever Los Angeles showcase at the Hollywood Improv. This past spring, Sean competed on America’s Got Talent! In September 2015, Sean was named an ‘UP RISER’ fresh face comedian to watch by Stand Up Magazine. This winter, Sean embarked on the ‘BEAST COAST’ comedy tour for two weeks to NYC, Boston, and Philadelphia.

    Julia Jasiunas is the creator and producer of HashtagComedyLA, and each month she brings an amazing line up of professional comedians right here to her home town in the Conejo Valley. A comedienne, actor, singer/songwriter, dancer and all around performer, Julia has performed at many Hollywood hot spots such as The Comedy Store, Westside Comedy Theatre, Flappers Comedy Club, and The Lyric Theatre as well as The Comedy Palace and Madhouse Comedy Club in San Diego, Ca. Most recently, Julia opened for Ahmed Ahmed at the Tahoe Improv! She has also been featured in many regional musicals such as “Annie” with Cabrillo Music Theatre and “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”. .
