CEC’s Board of Directors provide strategic input on CEC’s mission to create local solutions to the challenges of climate change. These two new members bring expertise in land use and green business, as well as strong records of giving back to the community.

Elliott MacDougall is the founder of Weymouth Development Group, a leading energy real estate development company. A published thought leader and policy advocate for domestic energy infrastructure reform and renewable energy expansion, Elliott has been a member of CEC’s Partnership Council for two years.

In January, CEC’s Board of Directors also elected a new Treasurer, Kathy Yeung. She joins current Board officers John Steed (President), Catherine Brozowski (Vice President), and Charles Newman (Secretary).

CEC’s Partnership Council is comprised of a broad spectrum of community leaders who act as ambassadors to advocate, network, and promote on behalf of CEC.

Karen Brill is a school counselor and family therapist who co-founded the Sustainable Change Alliance and currently leads the local chapter of Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project. A member of the Women’s Fund and long-time docent at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, she has served on the Board of Angels Foster Care, Canticle a capella Choir, and the Santa Barbara Choral Society.
