sick times; font-size: 16px;”>For far too long, order conservatives around the country have viewed California as a lost cause. A front in the war against big government that just isn’t worth fighting. Content with surrendering the Golden State to Nancy Pelosi, Hollywood liberals and their liberal enclave.

There is no denying that they have taken over our state, but what conservatives need to remember is that it wasn’t always this way–and I believe that there are reasons to remain vigilant in this fight and to renew the fight to win back California.

California is much different than most people think. Most people forget or shrug off the fact that, historically, California has produced some of the leading conservative voices in the country, from Ronald Reagan to Howard Jarvis and current leaders like Darrell Issa.

For decades we were at the forefront of the conservative movement to preserve the freedoms and liberties this country has provided for more than 200 years and we need to be again.

Is this a different Tony Strickland from the past? Like many other mainstream republican politicians, I’ve seen more reaching across the aisle than strong opposition to what’s failing in California from him.
