Cases continue to increase in our County and throughout our State. Last Friday we sent you an image and a case number with “You know what to do” text because we believe you do know what to do and that you’re tired of being told what to do. This is the time we all just need to do our part to help bring the numbers down.
Please help by wearing a mask, social distancing, not gathering and staying home as much as possible during this time. Your actions matter. They help save lives and they help save businesses. We all want COVID to go away. If each of us in our community takes action to bring down the numbers we can all move forward.
Today’s stats:
- There are 715 new cases of COVID-19.
- There have been 3 additional deaths (48 year old male, 52 year old male and 75 year old female, all with comorbidities). Our thoughts are with the loved ones of those who have passed away.
- 5,402 new tests performed
- Current doubling time is 35.8 days.
- Current hospitalizations: 263 and current ICU: 59.
We are at week two of the three week Stay Home Order. After the third week the State will reevaluate the hospital capacity in the region to advise on next steps. Read more about the Stay Home Order here.
