THANK YOU TO ALL THE SPECIAL PEOPLE SERVING AT OUR HOSPITALS!
Shout out to the special traveling nurses who are serving at our hospitals and hospitals throughout the Country. Jalisha Johnson is serving at our ICU. She is from Mobile, Alabama. There are many people working 24/7 at our hospitals serving very sick people. Let’s help them out in doing whatever we can to slow the spread of COVID-19.
    Business Outbreaks

We have received questions about where there have been cases of COVID-19. To respond to those questions a map of reported outbreaks has been created. This data is dynamic and may not reflect real-time investigation information as this map is only updated once per week on Fridays. Non-Residential settings include workplaces, food and retail stores, and places of worship. This list of businesses within our county, reflects a composite view of those businesses which have identified an outbreak as defined by state and federal criteria and have worked with Ventura County Public Health (VCPH) in mitigating the Covid-19 virus within their facility. The placement of a business on this list is not necessarily indicative of a current or ongoing outbreak. Inclusion on this list does not suggest neglect or wrongdoing on the part of the facility. Each facility is working with VCPH and taking all of the recommended steps to ensure a safe work place.

    Local Vaccine Information

Ventura County Residents or those that work in our County can register for vaccines if they are in Phase 1A. If you are not in the current phase please do not register.

65 and older are not in the current phase. The State announced that 65 and older are in Phase 1B after Phase 1A is completed. This will likely be in two to three weeks.

The table CASES BY CITY/UNINCORPORATED AREA contains an error.

The number of new cases for Oak Park is 2,98 and the total number of cases is 57,611. At https://www.venturacountyrecovers.org/ a version of this table can be copied and pasted into an Excel Worksheet. There, the total is 57,313. When the number 2.98 replaces 2,98 the total is 57,611.

How do mistakes like this happen?
