County of Ventura COVID-19 Update – October 20, 2020

Good afternoon, There are 49 new cases today (6 (12.2%) of which have a lab collection from October 13th or earlier), 1,159 additional people tested, and 0 additional deaths. There are 27 people hospitalized with COVID-19 and currently 10 are receiving care in the ICU.

The current data published as of October 20th is 5.1 (red tier) for the case rate and 2.4% (orange tier) for the positivity rate for the measurement period ending October 10th. Overall testing positivity is 2.3% and the HPI lower quartile positivity is at 2.9%.
